Formulation Development:
- To conduct laboratory experiments for development of various formulations which are novel, non-infringing or generic in nature for various proteins, peptides and monoclonal antibodies
- Co-ordination with IPM department to study various patentability issues related to formulation development

- Manufacturing of the Drug Product batches for pre-clinical studies and for clinical trials under GMP/GLP conditions

- Degradation profiling for the Drug Products and Drug Substance based on temperature, light and freeze-thaw etc. Involved in the development of the stability-indicating assays
- Selection of container-closure system for Drug Substance and Drug Product for their better stability and patient convenience (i.e. vials, cartridges, pre-field syringes, auto-injectors / pen devices, rubber stoppers, plungers and line seals etc.)
- To run full-fledged stability studies of the Drug Substance and Drug Product as per the ICH guidelines
- Knowledge of different national and international suppliers providing high quality primary / secondary packaging material for biological drugs
